In Piazza De Riseis, dominates the PALAZZO DE RISEIS, classified as a baronial palace, built in the 18th century, and in the same square we find PALAZZO RAIMONDI, classified as a noble house with halls featuring frescoed ceilings. In Viale Dante Alighieri, there is also the SANCTUARY OF MADONNA DELLA STRADA built in the 1960s on the remains of an ancient church dating back to the 14th century. In Via Arcivescovo De Risio, it is also possible to visit the CHURCH OF SAN PANFILO, which dates back to a period before the 14th century. The building was damaged in 1566 by incursions from the Turks and has undergone various modifications over the centuries. The bell tower dates back to the 1700s. In Contrada San Giacomo, we find the CHURCH OF SAN GIACOMO, which took its name, according to popular belief, from the discovery in the place where the church currently stands, of a painting of the Apostle Saint James the Greater.
